7 Truths God Wants You to Know

This only summarizes some critical God’s revealed truths that affect your life. Understanding them has an eternal impact on your destiny.

Jesus said:

Jesus answered him, “Truly, truly, I say to you, unless one is born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.” (John 3:3)

The following Bible verses give you an understanding of truths in the spiritual dimension you cannot see with your physical eyes.

  1. “For all sinned, and come short of the glory of God.” (Romans 3:23)
  2. “For the wages of sin is death: but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.” (Romans 6:23)
  3. “But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.” (Romans 5:8)
  4. “For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten Son that whoever believes in him should not perish, but have eternal life.” (John 3:16)
  5. “Because, if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.” (Romans 10:9)
  6. “For He made Him who knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him.” (2Corinthians 5:21)
  7. “If anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; all things have passed away; behold all things have become new.” (2Corinthian 5:17)

What You Should Do

  1. Admit that you have sinned and need a Savior. (Romans 3:23)
  2. Receive Jesus as your Savior by confessing with your mouth Jesus is your Lord and believing in your heart that He died on the cross for your sins and was raised for your justification. (Rom 10:9)
  3. When you realize you have sinned, repent and confess. He is faithful and righteous to forgive your sins and cleanse you from all unrighteousness. (1John 1:9)

Pray to Be Born Again

Dear God, I know that I have sinned and need your forgiveness. I believe that Jesus died for my sins. I want to turn from all my sins and invite Jesus into my heart. I trust in Jesus as my Savior and Lord. Thank you for forgiving my sins and giving me a new life. Amen

Now You Are Born of God

If you prayed that prayer from your heart, you are Born of God because you prayed according to God’s Word. Now, you are a child of God. He wants to have a relationship with you and bless you. You must maintain that relationship by obeying the guidance of the Holy Spirit who dwells in you. 

You have received Christ and are born of God.

But to all who did receive him, who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God, 
who were born, not of blood nor of the will of the flesh nor of the will of man, but of God.  (John 1:12-13)

God’s Word is the imperishable seed working in you.

Since you have been born again, not of perishable seed but of imperishable, through the living and abiding word of God; 
 for “All flesh is like grass and all its glory like the flower of grass. The grass withers, and the flower falls, 
but the word of the Lord remains forever.” And this word is the good news that was preached to you. (1Peter 1:23 -25)

You are a new creature in Christ and are reconciled with God.

Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away; behold, the new has come. 
All this is from God, who through Christ reconciled us to himself and gave us the ministry of reconciliation; (2Corinthians 5:17-18) 

The Holy Spirit dwells in you to help and guide you.

Nevertheless, I tell you the truth. It is to your advantage that I go away; for if I do not go away, the Helper will not come to you; but if I depart, I will send Him to you. (John 16:7 )  

But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name, He will teach you all things, and bring to your remembrance all things that I said to you. (Joh 14:26)

However, when He, the Spirit of truth, has come, He will guide you into all truth; for He will not speak on His own authority, but whatever He hears He will speak; and He will tell you things to come. (John 1613)
