My Younger Years
I have always been a sickly girl, but when in our weakness we realize that the Lord is our helper, then, we seek Him, and we get closer to Him, and He never lets us down but strengthens, directs, and helps us.
When I was very young, I was abused and developed emotional problems and rejection. I grew up very reserved and kept things to myself. Since my childhood, the Lord has always been the source of my strength.
I was in a coma at 15 but recovered.
Later, at 32, I had a nervous breakdown, and the Lord healed me as I was in the hospital.
How I Joined Mount Zion Church
For some years I had been suffering from hemorrhaging and other symptoms but had not told anybody. My doctor knew it but did not give me any specific instructions to follow. I placed my trust in the Lord. The Bible account of the woman with the issue of blood was the source of my faith.
In 1998 I was going to a home church, and my Pastor went to be with the Lord. At that time, the Lord told me to join Mount Zion Church, so I joined that church.
At Mount Zion Church
The Pastor of Mount Zion Church was starting Home Groups and asked me if I would like to open my home to a Women’s Group. I said yes, but I told the Lord that if he wanted me to do that, He had to heal me.
My Conditions Worsened
After I joined Mount Zion Church, I was delivered from the spirit of rejection. Nevertheless, I continued to hemorrhage for some time until, at one evening meeting, I had a major hemorrhage. Fortunately, a nurse was attending the meeting helped me and helped with the clean-up.
My condition continued to worsen for a couple more months. I felt pulling in my right leg. My leg was white for poor blood circulation. I could hardly walk. I went to see my doctor. She knew that something was seriously wrong and sent me to the Montfort Hospital for some tests. After the tests, they told me that I had a tumor and, immediately, they set up a time for an operation.
I Went to the Altar for Prayer
The Sunday before the date of the operation, at the morning service, when the Pastor asked if someone needed prayer, I went up for prayer.
As the Pastor laid hands on me and prayed, I lost consciousness and fell under the power of the Holy Spirit. I don’t remember anything. When I got up, I was surprised because I did not believe in falling under the Spirit, even if I had seen others doing it before. More than anything else, I was concerned about what had taken place.
The Tumor Was Gone
When I went to the hospital for taking the ultrasound before the operation, they could not find the tumor anymore, and they canceled the operation.
My doctor knew that I am a believer and realized that my faith had healed me. She confirmed that the tests proved that “what was there before was there no more.”
This miracle started my healing journey, and my symptoms improved from that time. My health is better now than when I was much younger. I can stand, walk and my back pain is gone. I praise the Lord for what He has done in my life. “By His stripes, I am healed.”
So I started a Bible study group in my home, and the Lord has used me in helping other believers who came to me.
The Enemy Does Not Give-up, But God Is Faithful
Even after being healed, the enemy continued to try to destroy us in other ways, but the Lord is faithful and always there to help, and I walk in victory.
